The BloomSphere Lifecycle
Every BloomSphere begins long before the resin is poured. From Seed to Sphere, each piece moves through a careful, hands-on process in my Mar Vista garden and studio.
Grown
Strawflowers self-seed every year in our yard. I help them grow by thinning, watering and pinching- but these flowers volunteer their joy and grow bigger than most varieties I’ve seen
Harvested
Blooms are cut at peak color and carefully selected. Some are enjoyed for a week or two as cut flowers & others are de-stemmed & dried to be preserved for ever in Resin
Cast in Resin
Each sphere is hand-poured and positioned to capture the light.
